This lovely lady is my wife X. Sherry Liu, who is currently an Assistant Professor at the medical school of UPenn, Philadelphia, PA. Sherry’s research focuses on biological processes in bone and on how they influence bone material, microstructural, and biomechanical properties with aging, disease, and therapies. (Sounds like more fun than what I do!!)

Sherry and I got to know each other in 1995 back in high school. This picture on the right was taken when Sherry and I finished the 2011 ING New York City Marathon. We were running together throughout the entire course and crossed the finish line hand in hand.
